Role
- You’ll be part of the pioneering team building GridBeyond’s EV/Storage/Microgrid presence across the Other regions.
- You will have a ‘hunter’ mentality to bring on new business and generate leads, primarily in the fleet and transport sectors as well as the Charge Point Management space.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision makers and manage relationships with senior stakeholders using recognisable engagement mapping techniques such as Miller Heiman or equivalent.
- Evaluate opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, sales, retention within your book of business and build qualitative strategic account plans to clearly present a path to success.
- Supporting and progressing the development of market solutions in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
- Building and developing strategic analysis of the target market and sectors and delivering propositions based on this analysis.
- Develop and lead key strategic meetings and webinars, events and seminars relating to EV/Storage/Microgrid.
- Ensure CRM system is fully updated and all information pertaining to sales leads and activity is entered at least weekly.
- Run through territory planning calls and weekly sales reviews from CRM database highlighting risks and opportunities from activity entered into the CRM system.
- Ensure that all monthly sales review material is in place for the Leadership team to evaluate at monthly sales review.
- Identifying opportunities to create additional cross-offerings and synergies based on client /industry demand.
- Identifying funding opportunities and completing the documentation to acquire it.
- Organise projects & tenders, monitor progress and assess & manage the risks/opportunities.
What are we looking
- A successful sales track record working with large blue-chip customers. Preferably in the automotive/electric mobility sector, transport/bus sector or delivery of microgrids (that include EV), but we are more than willing to consider promising candidates from similar industries with the right skillset.
- A history of reliably exceeding margin targets.
- Demonstrable success in developing new business sales.
- Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to understand customers’ needs and requirements and translate these into profitable solutions.
- Ability to monitor and analyse market developments

Role
We are seeking to hire a Business Analyst who is passionate about gathering clear requirements and ensure technology projects are delivered to the user’s requirements and released on time. What are we looking for
Responsible for gathering technical and user requirements for business and technology projects and converting them into detailed Epics, Features and User Stories to be worked on by the development team. Working closely with internal business and industry stakeholders, architects, team leads, software developers and quality assurance to ensure projects are delivered matching the user’s requests and needs.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Conduct research and liaise with stakeholders in order to collect and document technical requirements and identify the key needs, suggesting the best solutions to meet these.
- Review and analyse requirements of internal stakeholders and external industry customers and clients.
- Define Technical and Business scope of projects
- Translate from requirements and create detailed technical and functional specifications associated with projects
- Assist testers with test cases and testing scenarios
- Support documentation associated with technical project delivery, acceptance delivery and work with stakeholders in handover and delivery of applications.
- Contribute ideas to help ensure that appropriate standards and processes are in place and actively look for opportunities to enhance and innovate solutions and improve process efficiency.

Role
Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue North America, the Business Development Manager (BDM) represents a key role for the business, at an important time in its development. The appointee can expect direct interaction with the senior leadership team and will assume responsibility for :
- Leading the development of a robust sales pipeline and business propositions in order to sell Demand Response programs and flexibility services to large energy consumers in the ERCOT Market
- Seeking and exploiting new business opportunities to achieve sales targets
- Develop and grow indirect sales channels with the recruitment of partners that can help us meet our growth and expansion goals.
- Networking with clients, attending industry events and building strategic relationships to enhance brand capital and opportunities for new business

Our system consists of site controllers with sensor and actuation networks, a central applications system and an operation center for managing Smart Grid services and trading in Energy Markets.
GridBeyond is a technology leader in the evolving smart grid offering Load Shifting, Demand Response and Frequency Response services. The smart grid is the next generation electricity network. Its aim is to utilise any possible electricity producing or consuming resource connected to the grid, from small residential to large industrial loads, to ensure security of supply in a changing energy landscape and to maximise value to the public. Role
The role requires a special mix of over 5 year’s Electrical/Control/Commercial Engineering exp. & at least 2 years leading/managing a team. The role will not start out as a management role so the candidate must be the doer until there is a requirement for team growth. This candidate needs to have experience auditing sites to understand the sites processes and flexibility and then assist the sales efforts by providing technical support and joining commercial meetings to get an opportunity over the line. The ideal candidate will have a background in Automation with strong knowledge on PLC’s, VSD’s, network protocols. This candidate must also have strong electrical knowledge with experience in specking CTs for the correct points of monitoring. Practical experience in this area is a must.
Ideally the candidate has the ability to install small panels if the need arrives.
This candidate must be comfortable in a fast paced, technology business & have ability to work flexibly across a range of responsibilities & challenges. This candidate will need to grow a team and be able to train the team in how to commercially assist sales and then practically deliver a project, no matter what the industry.
What are we looking for

- Auditing potential customer sites to realise the opportunity there and understand the installation involved if opportunity is progressed.

- Strong technical / engineering understanding of automation/control in the manufacturing or industrial space.
- Experience in technically supporting sales effort.

Role
The Accountants Assistant will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including (but not limited to), the calculation of amounts due to customers, the preparation of customer statements, the preparation of reconciliations and various other duties. - Design and application of internal controls to ensure the completeness and accuracy of amounts payable. Updating internal documents and adhering to the controls as described

- Identifying enhancements to the customer statement preparation process. Working with other stakeholders (I.T.) to improve systems as required

Role
As the Market Strategy and Regulatory Manager at GridBeyond, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our market strategy, focusing on response and reserve, ancillary services, local network flexibility as well as capacity market activities in the UK. You will be responsible for navigating complex regulatory landscapes, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Market Strategy Development:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats related to response and reserve ancillary services, capacity markets and other flexibility services in the UK.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective market strategies aligned with GridBeyond’s business objectives.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay ahead of market changes.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, guidelines, and standards affecting the energy industry, with a focus on response and reserve ancillary services and capacity markets.
- Maintain a regulatory compliance framework to ensure GridBeyond’s adherence to all relevant regulations, and communicate this to internal operations and sales teams.
- Engage with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to represent GridBeyond’s interests and contribute to shaping regulatory frameworks.
Capacity Market Participation:
- Manage the company’s participation in capacity market auctions, ensuring accurate and timely submission of bids and compliance with all requirements.
- Manage the company’s position in the capacity market, including through the secondary traded market.
- Manage relationships with relevant authorities, capacity market administrators, and other stakeholders to optimize GridBeyond’s position in the capacity market.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry associations.
- Represent GridBeyond in industry forums, conferences, and working groups to enhance the company’s visibility and influence.
- Engage with strategic customers and partners in support of business development.
What you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in energy market strategy development, with a focus on response and reserve ancillary services and capacity markets in the UK.
- Experience and understanding of the UK electricity market in general.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK energy regulatory landscape and capacity market mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of demand response and energy management technologies.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and support commercial engagement with clients and strategic partners.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong mathematical skills and use of Excel (python would be a bonus for forecasting future pricing).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects independently.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced salesperson to drive sales of our products in the ERCOT Texas energy market, leveraging deep industry knowledge and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity that will place a Market Strategy Manager within the North America’s dynamic deregulated energy markets. The candidate pool will be populated by those seeking an opportunity to play a key role contributing towards an exciting growth story. The opportunity will offer significant scope for growth. The role will cover several North American energy markets facilitating the expansion of our understanding of these markets as well as identifying business opportunities.
The successful candidate for this role will help to expand GridBeyond’s foothold in the North American power markets and to replicate its status in the UK and Ireland as a market leader service provider. They will support this goal by identifying opportunities for flexible and distributed assets, developing a complete understanding of the requirements and inherent risks and conducting thorough analysis of potential revenue streams. The primary objective being to optimize commercial opportunities for the business in the assigned markets. This role may also support new entry into other relevant North American energy markets.
What are we looking
Responsibilities will include:
- Being the point of contact for the assigned energy markets and establishing connections with key market participants to identify and influence regulatory concerns and future market developments.
- Providing insight on assigned energy markets and industry advancements to senior leadership team and analysing needs of the markets to identify actionable business strategies.
- Identifying and documenting registration requirements and submitting various market applications to access relevant revenue streams.
- Identifying commercial opportunities and developing a deep understanding of market rules that govern these opportunities, available revenue streams, path to market access, risk and penalties around performance.
- Working closely with the sales, marketing and customer solution departments in ensuring effective organization prioritization is in order to achieve revenue and client engagement target in the near and long terms.
- Tracking and managing key deadlines imposed by market operators.
- Reading market documents/ publications/training material and distilling them into key strategic and commercial takeaways for management.
Important Candidate Attributes:
- Experience in the deregulated energy markets and with demand response services
- Significant experience working in a both research and a commercial capacity, evaluating and producing commercial and/or technical reports and analyses
- Commercial aptitude, with experience contributing to business strategy by identifying and pursuing market opportunities
- The ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders including those in sales and operational functions and most importantly to the senior leadership team with actionable summary reporting.
What the Candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related business, management, commercial, engineering field, or relevant equivalent experience
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment background screen
